
Training Harvard's Future Business Leaders
The HSA CCFE Business Leadership Program is a rigorous five-day event designed to train Harvard College's most promising students in the fundamentals of business leadership. Selected from a very competitive pool of applicants, 100 top student leaders participate in the program.
In addition to classes taught by Harvard Business School faculty in finance, marketing, entrepreneurship, accounting, and business ethics, the program includes nightly events attended by Harvard alumni, mentors, and industry representatives. The group dialogues, case studies, and discussions enable students to develop even stronger analytical, communication and leadership skills. This unique academic forum enhances any liberal arts education while building a foundation for a number of careers, including those in the fields of technology, consulting, banking, entrepreneurship, and social enterprise.

Increasingly, liberal arts majors are entering the private sector and becoming leaders of the global economy. As a result, the demand on campus for business mentoring and entrepreneurial support continues to increase. The BLP is open to sophomores and juniors who have demonstrated academic achievement, strong leadership skills, and an interest in exploring business concepts. Class size is restricted to 100 students.
A materials fee of $50 will be instituted to defray the cost of cases to be used for the duration of the week. An additional $25 deposit will be required to ensure attendance. This deposit will be returned at the end of the program given that no more than two absences are accrued during the week. The remainder of the program is entirely free to participants, including most meals.
