Frequently Asked Questions

What happens to my job description once it is posted?
Our network of over 1,000 Harvard students peruse the job postings on a regular basis and will contact you directly to arrange the specifics of the job.

How long does it take to fill a job opening?
Although we cannot specify the amount of time it will take to fill a job opening, most openings are filled within one or two business days.

How will I know when a student responds to my job opening?
The student will contact you directly.

How will I be billed?
Each student who arrives for a job will bring a time sheet. After you sign the time sheet, the student will return it to our office and we will bill your credit card accordingly. We will send you an invoice to confirm the amount billed. Please note that you should not pay the student(s) directly.

Should I tip the student(s) who fill my job opening?
For some jobs such as serving, bartending, and moving, tipping for good service is customary, but never required. The average tip ranges between $15.00 and $30.00. Please note that we cannot bill tips; you can tip the student directly at the time of service.

What if I no longer need a student to fill my job opening?
If you no longer need a student to fill your job opening, please get in touch with us as soon as possible. We will remove your posting from our listings. Please note that if you cancel your job opening after you have confirmed the job with a student, you will be charged a $40.00 cancellation fee per confirmed student.
